University of Utah's standout outside hitter, Kamryn Gibadlo, gears up for another stint with USA Volleyball as she clinches a coveted spot on the U.S. Women's U21 National Team for the second year running. As reported by UtahUtes.com, Gibadlo's invitation follows a sophomore season packed with impressive accolades, including honorable mention All-America honors, a testament to her prowess on the court.
Expected to step up her game even further, Gibadlo snagged a place among the 18 athletes who will train in July for the 2025 NORCECA U21 Pan American Cup. "I'm so happy for Kamryn's invitation to represent the USA for a second straight summer," Beth Launiere, the Utes' head coach, stated to UtahUtes.com. The invitation to join the national team follows an extensive spring workout, with Launiere believing that Gibadlo is "well prepared for this opportunity."
The training block for the chosen 18 is scheduled from July 13-19 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. This intensive preparatory session is critical in finalizing the 12-member team that will proudly vie for the Cup in San Jose, Costa Rica, from July 20-28.
