Flagstaff residents, take note: Come Monday, you'll see some road closures kicking in around Riordan Rd and Riordan Ranch St – this is to install a new water meter and get some underground utilities in place. The official announcement from the City of Flagstaff notes that if your car's parked on Riordan Ranch St in the affected areas, better move it, or it'll be towed.
West-bound lanes on Riordan Rd will be shut down from Milton Rd to Riordan Ranch St, and Riordan Ranch St is a no-go for through traffic between Plaza Wy and Riordan Rd, though they'll make space for the locals, senior project manager from City of Flagstaff Ivey Coss is putting out the word, traffic will be redirected during this period which means drivers should be prepared for a detour and some delays, plan your trips accordingly. If you've got any burning questions or just wanna know more, you can drop Ivey Coss a line at [email protected] or call up 928-863-4980.
The work's going down every Monday through Thursday, starting at the crack of dawn - 6 a.m., and wrapping at 4 p.m., scheduled to be done by end of August. If you live around there, expect to hear the buzz and clank of heavy machinery as the new infrastructure takes shape. The city reps are extending a thank-you in advance to everyone for their patience and cooperation during this period.
