The Vancouver Police Department apprehended Hinzmann shortly after 5 a.m., after being dispatched to the scene following a distress call from the victim, who reported that Hinzmann was tearing apart her residence, threatening her life by brandishing a firearm for reasons that are yet to be fully understood. He remained at large. Still, he was found and taken into custody later that day. Hinzmann is now facing multiple charges after the domestic altercation took a violent turn.
