
A juvenile offender, now aged 18 but a minor at the time of the crime, has been charged with armed robbery involving a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old in Chicago. According to the Chicago Police Department's report, the incident occurred in the 9300 block of S. Greenwood Ave., with the suspect arrested on June 17, 2025. The charges include two felony accounts of robbery armed with a firearm.
As per the police narrative, the arrest was made shortly after the robbery, which transpired less than 40 minutes before apprehension. The detainee was identified as one of the culprits of the said armed robbery. The juvenile court hearing is scheduled to be held at 1100 S. Hamilton on Wednesday, less than 24 hours following the arrest.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the accused due to his status as a juvenile at the time of the crime.
