An 18-year-old man was seriously injured after being run over by a tractor on the far west side of Bexar County early Monday morning. The incident occurred in the 15400 block of Salmon Spring, where according to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, the young man sustained a serious injury to his leg as a result of the accident, according to Fox San Antonio.
Deputies who responded to the scene began immediate life-saving measures including CPR, until paramedics arrived to take over the emergency care. The report from Fox San Antonio indicates the accident happened just after 10:00 a.m., and despite the efforts of first responders, the victim's current condition remains undisclosed.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is still investigating how the accident occurred and as of yet, has not provided any further details regarding the events leading up to the young man being run over by the tractor. As KENS 5 has reported, the information about the accident was limited and no additional information has been released by officials.
