A 63-year-old Nashville man was tragically killed in the early hours of Saturday morning after being struck by a car while attempting to cross Murfreesboro Pike. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 800 block of the same street, as reported by FOX 17. Emergency responders transported the man to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities have highlighted that the man was crossing the road between the Plus Park Drive and Spence Lane intersections.
