
The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit is seeking assistance in locating 77-year-old Patricia Campbell, who went missing from the Lake View Retirement Residence in Tamarac as per the announcements made yesterday. Campbell, who is reported to have dementia, was last seen at her residence located at 2304 N.W. 52nd Court, at around 7 a.m. Local10 reports.
She is described as standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds with the gray hair and brown eyes. Campbell was last identified while wearing a black shirt, red pants, and black slippers. According to WSVN, the staff of the retirement facility, where Campbell lives, mentioned that she suffers from dementia, which may amplify concerns regarding her well-being.
Authorities are actively engaging with the community to help ensure Campbell's safe return. The situation underscores the challenges those with dementia face, and the ongoing need for attentive care and community awareness of their vulnerability.
