Officers from Boston Police District D-14 recently assisted students from Boston Green Academy by providing transportation to the Franklin Park Zoo for an end-of-year trip. According to a statement from the Boston Police Department, a transportation issue had threatened to cancel the outing, but officers stepped in to ensure the students could attend.
“When transportation became an issue, our officers stepped in to make sure the students didn’t miss out on a fun, and memorable day,” the Boston Police Department shared. The gesture helped the students enjoy their zoo visit without disruption.
The trip to Franklin Park Zoo offered students a day of educational exploration outside the classroom. The Boston Police Department noted its ongoing support for schools and engagement with local youth.
