
Chicago police are on the lookout for a man accused of committing acts of sexual abuse against two minors at a playground in the Dearborn Park neighborhood, as reported by CBS News Chicago. The incident, which took place around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Jones Park located in the 1200 block of S. Plymouth Court, has prompted authorities to seek assistance from the public in order to locate the suspect.
According to details provided by the police and shared by ABC7 Chicago, the suspect allegedly approached and grabbed one girl as she was playing on the equipment, then proceeded to sit next to another girl, initiating a conversation with her before touching her inappropriately, the three girls, realizing the gravity of the situation, promptly exited the playground but were briefly followed by the individual in question before he fled the scene.
Witness descriptions portray the suspect as an African American man between 60 and 70 years old, with distinguishing features including a bald head and gray or white facial hair; furthermore, he is reported to have missing teeth but at least one gold one. He was last seen donning a black long-sleeve shirt adorned with a white skeleton decal and blue jeans, as indicated by the witness statements.
