Clarksville is reviving the '90s for their Independence Day celebration, inviting everyone to don their neon windbreakers and enjoy an evening of nostalgia and community at Liberty Park. As announced by the City of Clarksville, the event will take place on July 3 from 5 to 9 p.m., featuring live music, delicious food, and a spectacular fireworks show.
A lineup of musicians will perform, representing the era when grunge and pop were popular. The event starts at 6 p.m. with acoustic performances by Mollihart, followed by Jax Hollow playing blues-influenced ’90s rock at 6:45 p.m. At 8 p.m., Saved By The Music will perform a tribute to ’90s artists. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display at 9:10 p.m.
The festival atmosphere will feature food trucks offering classic summer favorites like hot dogs and ice cream. Strawberry Alley Ale Works will provide beer for attendees seeking refreshments. Activities such as face painting and games will be available for kids and families. Additionally, designated chill zones will be set up for those looking to take a break from the festivities.
Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite '90s outfits or festive Red, White, and Blue attire. Attendees are welcome to relax on blankets or lawn chairs while enjoying the retro-themed event. However, park rules prohibit pets, outside alcoholic beverages, and personal fireworks.
