Clarksville DMV services will soon move from two local convenience centers to a new state-run facility. According to the City of Clarksville, DMV operations at City Hall and the North Center will end on June 30.

The new state DMV facility, located at 635 Hornbuckle Lane near Exit 11 off Interstate 24, is scheduled to open on July 28. It will offer expanded capacity with approximately 7,500 square feet of space and 13 service counters.

Until the new center opens, residents can continue to access DMV services at 220 W. Dunbar Cave Road.

Mayor Joe Pitts stated that the City has supported the state by hosting DMV services during the construction period and now looks forward to the state taking over full operations.

For questions or updated information during the transition, residents can contact the Clarksville Driver Services Center at (931) 648-5596.
