
Clarksville Police have launched an investigation into a burglary at EZ Mart located on 549 Neptune Drive, where a suspect reportedly fired a pink and black AR-style pistol to break through the glass entrance. The incident, which occurred on June 10 at around 3:14 a.m., resulted in the theft of various THC and vape products. WSMV reported that the suspect fled the scene on foot after the crime.
Authorities described the suspect as a male donning a dark green or black Carhartt zip-up hoodie, black pants, black shoes, and distinctive gray and orange gloves. In a statement obtained by ClarksvilleNow, CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien emphasized the unique appearance of the suspect's attire and weapon and encouraged anyone with information to come forward.
Efforts to identify the burglar are ongoing, with CPD making a public call for assistance. Surveillance footage captured at the EZ Mart is being used in attempts to recognize the individual responsible for the break-in.
