A pair of suspects remain at large following a heist at an Ulta Beauty store in Colma, with the Colma Police Department continuing its search for the duo who made off with over a thousand dollars in merchandise last year. The getaway car is an Uber, the police claim. The incident, thrust into the spotlight once more due to the department's Flashback Felony Friday social media post, took place on June 20, 2024.
The theft, reported to have occurred at approximately 6:21 PM at the Ulta Beauty location at 119 Colma Boulevard, saw a male and female pairing executing a swift theft of products totaling approximately $1,062.00 in value, after that they fled the scene in the rideshare vehicle, blurring the line between the accessibility provided by modern app-based services and the unintended aid such services can furnish to those with larcenous intentions. Descriptions of the suspects, as noted in the Colma Police Department social media post, detail a tall black male with black hair donned in a dark grey hooded sweatshirt, and a slender black female outfitted in a grey hooded sweatshirt.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the identities or whereabouts of the two suspects to step forward, giving a voice to the silent shades of justice that linger in the balance of community effort.
