Davie residents are invited to celebrate Independence Day. In an event designed exclusively for town dwellers, "Fun on the 4th" hits the fields of Pine Island Park this July 4, offering an array of activities from live music to high-flying drone shows, as reported by the Town of Davie. With gates swinging open at 5 p.m., those registered can indulge in the sounds of the Samantha Russell Band, children's rides, various family activities, and a smorgasbord of food trucks until the stars make their entrance.
A highlight of the evening will be a drone display at 9 p.m., followed by fireworks synchronized to patriotic music, concluding around 9:10 p.m. For safety reasons, personal fireworks and sparklers are not allowed in the park—guests are encouraged to enjoy the official show, as detailed by the town's announcement.
Staying true to its local spirit, "Fun on the 4th" is open exclusively to Davie residents. To attend, residents must register in advance through Davie’s WebTrac program. Current users can log in online, while new participants can register by calling 954-327-3941 or visiting the Pine Island Multipurpose Center during regular hours. Registration closes on July 1.
Each Davie household will receive one ticket, sent by email before the event, allowing one vehicle per household to attend the July 4th park concert.
