The Incident
According to KHOU, the confrontation began when three men got into some type of dispute with a suspect outside the hotel. The suspect then opened fire on their vehicle, striking two of the men before they fled the scene. The victims' vehicle traveled approximately a mile before coming to a stop at Highway 6 and Clay Road, where deputies found the men at approximately 11:15 p.m.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second man was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, as reported by Click2Houston. The third man, who was driving and remained uninjured, was detained at the scene for questioning. The shooter, described as wearing dark clothing and a mask, had not been arrested as of Sunday morning.
