
A tragic turn of events unfolded on Sunday when Cody Joss, a 42-year-old Franklin resident, sustained fatal injuries in a vehicle crash. Joss was involved in an accident just before 4:30 PM, where his van tipped on its side in the 200 block of Noah Drive.
Local authorities responded to the scene, where a complicated extraction was necessary to free Joss from the wreckage. He was urgently transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville with life-threatening injuries. According to a report by the City of Franklin, Joss succumbed to his injuries and passed away last night. In a twist of fortune, a dog also in the van when the crash emerged without harm.
