
A tragic incident occurred last Sunday as a Franklin man succumbed to injuries sustained from a vehicle accident. Cody Joss, 42, was involved in a severe crash that ultimately led to his death at Vanderbilt University Medical Center late Tuesday, as confirmed by the Franklin Police Department.

The collision took place on Sunday, moments before 4:30 p.m., when Joss's van turned over in the 200 block of Noah Dr. Police arriving at the devastating scene had to urgently work to extract Joss from the toppled vehicle. He was swiftly transported to Vanderbilt with injuries that were soon to be declared life-threatening. Intriguingly, amidst the wreckage, a dog accompanying Joss managed to emerge unscathed.
