
In a recent run-in with law enforcement, Carlos Sanchez-Roa, a 28-year-old from the 3000 block of Towle Ave in Hammond, IN, faces severe charges after an encounter with the Chicago Police Department. According to official police reports, Sanchez-Roa is charged with one felony count each of aggravated battery against a peace officer, attempted first-degree murder, and aggravated assault against a peace officer/fire/emergency worker.
Last Saturday, an incident unfolded in which Sanchez-Roa was identified as the suspect who allegedly used a vehicle to strike a Chicago police officer before fleeing the scene. The event occurred in the 5600 block of W. Belmont Avenue, as per the Chicago Police Department.
