Residents of Hollywood who typically rely on the convenience of the Drive-Thru payment window at City Hall might need to reroute their bill-paying plans for the time being. The payment window, strategically positioned on the north side of the building, is temporarily out of service due to maintenance, per a recent announcement via the city's official website. This shutdown commenced on Wednesday with no immediate indication of when it might welcome transactions again.
However, this minor disruption shouldn't unduly stall the regular settling of accounts. The Cashier's Office, situated at 2600 Hollywood Boulevard in Room 103, stands ready to receive residents Monday through Thursday from 7:00am - 6:00pm, facilitating in-person bill payments. Additionally, an "After Hours" drop box is available for use next to the disabled Drive-Thru window, offering a slip of convenience amid the temporary setback.
Hollywood's city administration is actively guiding residents toward alternative payment options following the closure of its Drive-Thru service.
