By tonight, the chance of precipitation rises to 10% with isolated showers expected after 5am and mostly cloudy skies, according to the forecast.
Friday's outlook includes scattered showers before 11am, then a more concerted chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11am and 2pm. Showers are likely thereafter, particularly after 2pm, with the high temperature hovering around 82 degrees. The NWS predicts a 60% chance of precipitation, with new rainfall amounting to between a tenth and quarter of an inch, but higher amounts could occur in thunderstorms. This marks a shift from earlier in the week when the weather, was more settled.
Heading into Friday night, the probability of precipitation climbs to 80% as showers and potential thunderstorms move through the area. An expected low around 69 degrees with a south southeast wind of 3 to 6 mph accompanies new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch. The wet conditions are anticipated to persist into Saturday with a staggering 90% chance of showers and possibly thunderstorms resulting in similar rainfall amounts and highs near 83.
Come Saturday evening, the storms could give way to a chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly between 8pm and 2am, cooling down to a low of around 68 degrees. The pattern persists through the weekend with Sunday bearing a 50% chance of showers and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon. Conversely, Sunday night's risk dwindles to 30%, yet it's still likely before 2am amid mostly cloudy conditions and a low hovering close to 66 degrees.
As the new week begins, Monday also carries a slight chance of showers with an increased chance of thunderstorms after 2pm. Despite the potential for rain, the forecast is mostly sunny with a high near 85. NWS indicates that these on-and-off showers and thunderstorms are likely to continue into Tuesday and Wednesday, maintaining the trend of warmer temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 80s, juxtaposed against a persistent chance of precipitation.
