As the Indianapolis Colts move forward following the death of longtime owner Jim Irsay on May 21, his three daughters—Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt, and Kalen Jackson—are taking on leadership roles within the organization. According to FOX59, the sisters expressed confidence in general manager Chris Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen during a press conference held yesterday. Irsay-Gordon, now serving as CEO and principal owner, stated, “We are very confident.”

Despite the loss of their father, the sisters said they remain committed to leading the franchise. Jackson, who is Chief Brand Officer and President of the Indy Colts Foundation, told FOX 59, “I know that even though he’s not here to see this day, he is here and he is seeing it, and he is literally ingrained in our hearts and in our minds.”

The Irsay family emphasized their late father’s impact on Indianapolis. As IndyStar reported, during the funeral procession, the sisters noted the strong community support. “It was very emotional, but an extremely beautiful reminder of what he represented here,” Jackson said.

Each sister will play a distinct role in the Colts’ operations. Foyt will focus on marketing and community relations as Executive Vice President, while Jackson will continue leading philanthropic initiatives. They also noted the challenges and responsibilities of shared ownership. Jackson told Bleacher Report, “We're sisters, but we're also business partners,” highlighting their joint approach to team management.
