The Louisiana Economic Development is accepting participants for its 2025–2026 Small and Emerging Business Development Roundtables. The program is scheduled to begin in the coming months and will focus on peer-to-peer networking and business strategy discussions, as reported by the Louisiana Economic Development.
The Small and Emerging Business Development Roundtables program will run for one year and include 10 meetings designed to help small business owners discuss challenges and share strategies. The sessions will use the PeerSpectives™ Roundtable System developed by the Edward Lowe Foundation. The program is open to current Small and Emerging Business Development participants and those interested in joining. “SEBD Roundtables offer an invaluable opportunity for small business owners to build community while gaining new perspectives to address common challenges,” said Stephanie Hartman, director of LED’s Louisiana Growth Network, according to the Louisiana Economic Development.
Local entrepreneurs receive technical and managerial support through the Small and Emerging Business Development Roundtable, which is led by Certified Small and Emerging Business Development Intermediaries. Valerie Vides of NOLA Wood Windows said, "The SEBD Roundtable has connected me with an incredibly diverse group of business leaders who lift each other up to celebrate success and share business challenges." Registration is open, and small business owners are encouraged to sign up as spots are limited, as mentioned by the Louisiana Economic Development.
