
A somber scene unfolded in Joliet as police reported the death of a 13-year-old boy, the victim of a shooting incident. The child was discovered deceased in an alley late Monday afternoon.
Arriving on the scene near the 300 block of Des Plaines Street following reports of a shooting around 4:40 p.m., officers were met with the grim sight of the young boy's body, carrying multiple gunshot wounds, as relayed by authorities, NBC Chicago reported.
