
The Metropolitan Police Department has arrested a juvenile in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Northeast Washington, D.C. The incident took place on the afternoon of May 9, near the 4100 block of Minnesota Avenue and resulted in property damage to a Metrobus. No injuries were reported, as per the Metropolitan Police Department.
Police responded to reports of gunfire and found evidence consistent with a shooting at the scene. The suspect had left the area before officers arrived.
Following an investigation by the Juvenile Investigation and Response Unit, a 14-year-old male from Northeast D.C. was identified and arrested on May 17 under a custody order issued by the D.C. Superior Court. He has been charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (gun).
