The incident, which transpired at a location of 531 Banks Road #4, drew the attention and rapid response from Margate Police and Fire Departments. According to NBC Miami, the emergency crews arrived at the scene following reports of a possible drowning.
Despite the elements being against them, the fire department's rescuers managed to locate the man and hurriedly transported him to HCA Florida Northwest Hospital. As Margate Talk reported, the man was pronounced dead upon arrival by the doctors. This information comes in the wake of the active search initiated when the man was initially reported missing.
