Tragedy struck early Saturday in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood where a 32-year-old man was fatally shot. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. in the 2200 block of West Cortland Street. When Chicago police arrived, they found the man unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his chest.
The victim was quickly transported to St. Mary’s Hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead. The identity of the man has not yet been released to the public.
