Tragedy struck early Sunday morning in Portland's Foster-Powell neighborhood when a male victim was fatally wounded in a stabbing incident. The Portland Police Department reported officers were dispatched at approximately 12:26 a.m. to the parking lot in the 6200 block of Southeast Foster Road. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male deceased from his injuries.
Current information is scant as the assailant or assailants, having fled the scene before the authorities arrived, remain unidentified, and the investigation is ongoing. The Portland Police Homicide Unit is actively working on the case, and due to their work, a section of Southeast Foster Road is closed to traffic stretching from Southeast 62nd Avenue to Southeast 65th Avenue. They are urging anyone with information to come forward. According to the Portland Police, "If anyone has information about this case and has not already spoken to police, please contact Detective Carlos Ibarra."
