
Late Tuesday night, an argument on a CTA platform in downtown Chicago's Loop turned violent, resulting in a 42-year-old man being stabbed. The altercation occurred on the Clark/Lake station platform at approximately 11:45 p.m. According to The Chicago Sun-Times, the victim was engaged in an argument with another individual when the assailant "lunged at him with a sharp object."
The attack, which was also reported by CBS News Chicago, led to the man suffering a cut to his right arm. He was subsequently taken to Northwestern Hospital. He was noted to be in good condition.
Details regarding the impetus for the argument or the nature of the confrontation remain unclear, as per CBS News Chicago. Police have yet to apprehend a suspect in the incident.
