Over the span of several weeks, a spate of break-ins at Fairgrounds Storage has resulted in property losses for multiple storage unit renters. According to the Memphis Police Department, there have been seven reported burglaries between May 21 and June 14 at the storage facility located on 2472 Southern Avenue. In each instance, the same male suspect is said to have been captured by surveillance footage while forcefully entering units and absconding with various items.
To apprehend the suspect, the Memphis Police urge the public to come forward with any information that could lead to an arrest. Potential witnesses or those with knowledge related to these crimes, are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH.
