
The Metropolitan Police Department has arrested two suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Northwest. The incident took place on the 1600 block of 7th Street on Thursday at approximately 5:33 p.m. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, one suspect took a bookbag, and the other displayed a handgun and made threats when the victim attempted to retrieve the item.
The Metropolitan Police Department reported that after the suspects fled, the victim flagged down nearby officers. Police arrested two individuals believed to be involved in the robbery. The incident occurred during the day and is part of ongoing discussions about public safety.
Authorities have identified 18-year-old Daelyn Campbell of Upper Marlboro, MD, and 18-year-old Rico Rivers II of Beltsville, MD, as suspects in a recent armed robbery involving a firearm. Both individuals have been charged with Armed Robbery (Gun). Police responded promptly to the incident.
