Flames tore through two boats docked at the Grove Isle Club & Resort in Miami early this morning, prompting a swift response from city emergency services. Local 10 News reports that the Miami Fire Rescue team was notified about the incident just before 7:30 a.m. at 3 Grove Isle Drive, according to Lieutenant Pete Sanchez.

In a video captured by bystander Jessica Musick and sent to Local 10 News, intense flames can be seen billowing from the engulfed vessels as firefighters douse them with water. Both boats on fire were docked, and the fire was elevated to a Code 1 working fire, bringing in additional firefighting resources, including the Miami Fireboat and Miami Hazardous Materials Team. "Firefighters quickly deployed hose lines and initiated an aggressive fire attack, coordinating a foam operation to help contain and suppress the blaze," Lt. Sanchez stated to Local 10 News.

According to the report, the fire enveloped boats measuring between 30 to 40 feet, while two nearby boats, between 26 and 36 feet, suffered exterior damage due to the intense heat. Nonetheless, the professional efforts of the fire crews brought the flames under control within 10 minutes, and no internal damage to the adjacent vessels was reported.

No injuries have been reported from the incident. Following the extinguishment, both the Miami Fire Investigation Unit and the U.S. Coast Guard were called to the scene to probe into the fire's origin, as NBC Miami indicates. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and updates will be provided as the story develops.
