Miami residents can expect a mix of sun and light rain chances this weekend. According to the National Weather Service, today’s forecast includes mostly sunny skies with a high near 88 degrees and calm winds shifting southeast in the afternoon. Tonight will be mostly clear, with only a 10 percent chance of showers and a low around 78 degrees.
Over the weekend, temperatures are expected to reach the lower 90s, with slightly cooler conditions near the coast. Although June is usually a wetter month, this year has been drier, and only isolated storms are forecast, mainly in the western suburbs, as per Local 10 report.
Evening skies will stay partly cloudy, with temperatures hovering around 80 degrees and light southeast winds. A waxing gibbous moon will be visible, rising in the early evening and setting before dawn. Tropical weather systems are currently inactive, and this calm is expected to continue through the week.
Looking ahead, rain chances are expected to increase starting Monday, with a 40 to 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunday night is forecast to remain mostly clear before the wetter pattern begins.
