A fatal incident brought a stark halt to the flow of traffic in northwest suburban Buffalo Grove, as a motorcyclist's life was untimely snuffed out in a collision with a sedan. According to CBS News Chicago, the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Arlington Heights Road and Plum Grove Circle, where 24-year-old Rane Pyter from Schaumburg, the rider of the motorcycle, was critically injured and subsequently perished despite the immediate aid delivered by responding officers.
The cause of the collision remains undisclosed as the investigation continues. No citations or charges have been filed against the driver of the sedan, who was found at the scene unharmed and reportedly cooperative with Buffalo Grove authorities, as per FOX 32 Chicago.
The Buffalo Grove Police Department’s traffic unit, with support from the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team, continues to investigate the crash, CBS News Chicago reported.
