The Murfreesboro Police Department in Tennessee has issued a call for assistance in locating 17-year-old Shaniya Rutledge Reed. She was last seen last Tuesday in the vicinity of Warrior Drive and S. Church Street.
In a social media post, authorities described Shaniya as a missing runaway who is believed to be attempting to travel to Jackson, Tennessee and may currently be in the Nashville area.
The circumstances of Shaniya’s disappearance have prompted concern due to her age and the potential risks associated with being unaccompanied. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sagrera at 629-201-5633.
