On Wednesday afternoon, a Nashville man's window tint led to more than a citation when the Mt. Juliet Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 40, resulting in his arrest for multiple warrants. The individual, a 32-year-old from Nashville, was initially pulled over for a window tint violation, but a further check revealed that he was wanted for a felony probation violation tied to an aggravated assault charge, as well as a failure to appear on a theft charge, as detailed by WSMV.

The MJPD's vigilant officers quickly discovered through their investigation that the man was also on the radar of Florida law enforcement. However, the agency with jurisdiction over the Florida warrant declined to pursue extradition, as per WKRN. The arrest was then made based on the active warrants, and the suspect was taken into custody.
Pride in the dedication and vigilance of their officers was expressed by the MJPD in a social media post, stating, "Thanks to the vigilance and dedication of our officers, another wanted individual is off the streets."
