Nashville, TN - Today marks a significant moment for aspiring health professionals as Nashville State Community College School of Health Sciences opens its doors to host clinical skills events in collaboration with HOSA – Future Health Professionals. Their White Bridge campus, now enhanced by recent renovations, will provide a stage for students to showcase their expertise in phlebotomy and respiratory therapy during HOSA's International Leadership Conference.
The conference has chosen Nashville as its gathering hub, expected to draw around 60 student competitors, advisors, judges, and the patients who are to partake in these clinical trials. According to a statement obtained by Nashville State News, the objective is "to support the development and character-building of these future healthcare professionals," as stated by Donna Whitehouse, MHA, OTR, the dean of the School of Health Sciences at Nashville State.
HOSA, an international organization, is committed to improving global healthcare while fostering interest among youth in health careers. Their conference is a crucial venue for this endeavor, bringing together over 13,000 student participants who will take part over a span of four days at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center.
