A tragic event unfolded in Nashville this past Sunday morning when a man and his wife were found dead from gunshot wounds in what appears to be a murder-suicide. According to WKRN, officials say the incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. at a condominium on 31st Avenue North.
The Metro Nashville Police Department has identified the victims as 46-year-old Steven Pierce and his wife, 30-year-old Amina Pierce. Preliminary investigations suggest that the couple was embroiled in an argument about divorce and financial problems, culminating in the fatal shooting.
Shooting next to their condo, responding officers discovered the Pierces' bodies, suggesting a close-ended domestic dispute with lethal consequences. Under the husband, a revolver was identified as the weapon used in the killings. Authorities said, “The police department’s Domestic Violence Division had no prior involvement with the couple,” as reported by WSMV.
