Oklahoma’s Bridge Formula Program, part of the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, will fund repairs for two bridges in Norman: Bridge Number 14930 on Willow Grove Drive and Bridge Number 19418 on Indian Hills Road. The projects are scheduled to go out for bid in September. The repairs are "100 percent federally funded and do not require a match from the municipality," and all work will be done within the existing right of way. Bridge 14930, previously on a private road and removed from the city’s inventory, will receive structural reinforcement with rip rap. Bridge 19418, located on the boundary between Norman and Moore, will undergo debris removal and repair of areas affected by water, including the placement of rip rap in the stream, as reported by the City of Norman.
