The Broward Sheriff’s Office is requesting the assistance of the public in locating Mark Wilinsky, a 66-year-old man from Oakland Park, who has been missing for more than three weeks. Local10 reported that Wilinsky, who is reported to have a mental illness, was last seen around 8:30 p.m. on June 3 near the 200 block of Northeast 40th Court.
Described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes, Wilinsky was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and black shorts. The efforts to find Wilinsky come amid growing concerns for his safety and well-being, particularly given his family's statement regarding his mental health challenges, as detailed by WSVN.
The BSO Missing Persons Unit, led by Detective Leonard Charla, is spearheading the search. They emphasize that any piece of information could be valuable in ensuring Wilinsky's safe return. "Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact BSO Missing Persons Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274 or the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-4357," a plea reinforced by the BSO and echoed by concerned citizens throughout the region, as noted by Local 10.
