Tragedy struck in a rural area of Southwest Miami-Dade today when a welfare check turned grim. According to Local 10 News, Miami-Dade Sheriff's deputies discovered one person dead and another critically injured inside a trailer at the intersection of Southwest 204th Avenue and 232nd Street around 12:45 a.m.
The deputies, performing their responsibilities, went there to assess the well-being of individuals reported to possibly be in distress. They noticed an unconscious male visible from a bedroom window, authorities confirmed. The yet unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second person was transported in a critical condition to Jackson South Medical Center.
