But, for those who like to mark their calendars with something fresh, the popular 'Tempe 4th of July Celebration' has a new venue this year – Tempe Diablo Stadium, with promises of the stunning drone shows mixed, and of course, the traditional fireworks display. Cost of admission? A mere $10 if you're savvy and buy online, but $15 if you decide to rock up on the day, kids 12 and under slide in for free, “with a paid parent/guardian ticket,” according to information from ABC 15.
Now for those who've been long-time devotees to the Tempe celebration, you might be wondering about the switch-up from its usual spot at Tempe Beach Park. Well, it turns out that after 50 years of partnership, the City of Tempe and the Kiwanis Club are breaking up, in terms of July 4 event management. Looking ahead, City of Tempe officials stated that they will be "seeking a new event management company to help produce future July 4th celebrations."
