Mark Anthony Beaver, 40, has been taken into custody in Tennessee following a manhunt. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, Beaver was wanted in North Georgia on multiple charges, including aggravated assault, aggravated battery, aggravated sodomy, and rape.
The Gilmer County Sheriff's Office confirmed the arrest in a statement, noting that Beaver was located and apprehended on Wednesday. Authorities had previously issued a public alert seeking help in locating him.
Local 3 News also reported on the arrest, referencing a Facebook post shared by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office and originally issued by the Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office. The post identified Beaver and outlined the charges he faced.
