
A series of shootings in Cincinnati has left two dead and three injured in what has been a turbulent night for the city. In one incident, a man lost his life after being shot at a Shake Shack near the University of Cincinnati, as reported by WLWT. The victim, identified as 41-year-old Christopher Stallworth, was attended to around 8:20 p.m. yesterday following a gunshot wound to the chest.
Responding to the scene at 249 Calhoun Street, the police found Stallworth with life-threatening injuries. According to LOCAL12, Stallworth was quickly transported to UC Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Given the proximity to university housing, UC police issued a public safety alert, cautioning students to remain indoors after the shooting near their campus.
Authorities have made an arrest in connection with the shooting at Shake Shack, though the investigation is still ongoing.
