
A double stabbing incident in Southwest Miami-Dade has resulted in two men hospitalized and one suspect in custody today, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded to the scene near Bird Road and Southwest 112th Avenue following reports of an individual wielding a knife. Upon arrival, they found two men with stab wounds.
As reported by NBC Miami, the suspect was taken into custody this afternoon, however, their identity and potential charges have not been revealed at the time of reporting, the circumstances surrounding the events that led to the stabbing are still unknown as the investigation continues and authorities have provided no further details at this juncture.
Additionally, footage from the scene captured by Sky 10 showed crime scene tape surrounding a bus stop near Southwest 107th Avenue and near a TD Bank branch along 112th Avenue, as observed by Local10. It has not been confirmed whether the two scenes are connected this further complicates an already dense mystery surrounding the violent incident.
The suspect's arrest came after deputies received a call around 10:35 a.m. regarding a man armed with a knife in the aforementioned location where the two victims were discovered and came under emergency care, one victim's wounds were stabilized the other, unfortunately, found himself enmeshed in a battle for his life due to the severity of his injuries.
