University of Utah softball coach Amy Hogue has announced that former All-Big Ten selection and current AUSL Talons infielder Paige Sinicki has joined her staff as a graduate assistant.
As a recent stalwart of Oregon's lineup, Sinicki closed out her collegiate tenure on a high note. In her senior year, she snagged All-Big Ten First-Team honors and an Academic All-American title. Having all this achieved, the Women's College World Series also saw the Ducks rise with her help. The 2025 season marked her as an all-region selection, a nod she also picked up the year before. Consistency is key, it appears, with her 2024 accolades sparkling with a Rawlings Gold Glove award and the title of Pac-12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year tucked under her belt, according to Utah Utes News.
Moreover, Sinicki's prowess on the diamond recently transitioned into a pro opportunity. She was scooped up by the AUSL Talons last Friday, as reported by the university. With her induction, Sinicki joins a roster that not only advances her career post-academia but also reunites her with fellow Utah alumni Mariah Lopez and Hannah Flippen.
