Gomez was apprehended on Tuesday, in the proximity of S. Martin Luther King Ave. As outlined in a Chicago Police Department report, he faces two felony charges of attempted murder and one felony count of aggravated battery with a firearm.
The incident, which transpired on September 20, 2022, took place on the 3600 block of N. Elston Ave., critically injuring a 27-year-old female, whose identity has not been disclosed.
