A 16-year-old male juvenile has been arrested and charged with one count of felony aggravated domestic battery. The arrest came following an incident where the juvenile allegedly stabbed and seriously injured an adult female in the 500 block of S. Laramie Ave., according to a statement from the Chicago Police Department.
The department's report detailed that the suspect was taken into custody on July 14, at about 10:04 p.m., less than five minutes after the reported attack occurred in the same location. Due to the charges, the accused will be to soon face a detention hearing at 1100 S. Hamilton. As of now, authorities have said that no additional information is available regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident.
