
A serious traffic collision occurred in the Mission Valley East neighborhood. The accident occurred yesterday at approximately 1:53 PM along the 3200 block of Camino Del Rio North. An 18-year-old male, while behind the wheel of a 2009 Infinity G37, tragically crossed over the solid double-yellow lines and collided head-on with a 2011 Chevy Camaro driven by a 35-year-old female, as reported by the San Diego Police Department.
The male driver sustained a fractured femur and a lacerated spleen, while the female driver also suffered a fractured femur in the impact. Additionally, there was a 6-year-old girl in the Camaro at the time who sustained a fractured shoulder. According to the San Diego Police Department, the injuries, though severe, are not considered to be life-threatening. The investigators have quickly ruled out alcohol as a contributing factor to the collision.
The San Diego Police Traffic Division has investigated the incident to determine the circumstances that led to the unfortunate event. In the meantime, officials are calling on anyone with information about the collision to come forward. Officer J.
