The unidentified driver of the white vehicle, presumed to be between 40 and 48 years old, was grievously injured and subsequently pronounced dead at Loyola Hospital. Meanwhile, driving the blue SUV, a 30-year-old man sustained no injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene. Notably, no citations have been given in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy.
