Authorities are ramping up efforts to find Summer Leo, a 30-year-old woman last seen departing a Target store in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday evening. The Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO), leading the search, described the appearance of Leo entering a white BMW M340i, bearing the Florida license plate AH34SK, as captured on surveillance around 6:54 p.m. CBS News Miami reported on this update.
The car in question is owned by Timothy Bowman, 39, who the detectives are also interested in locating. According to the BSO spokesman Carey Codd, the vehicle was last noticed in the Tampa area as stated in a statement to Local10. The nature of Leo's disappearance is under scrutiny due to certain aspects that the BSO finds "suspicious".
While extensive information regarding the ongoing investigation or the relationship between Leo and Bowman has not been disclosed, officials are asking anyone with pertinent information to come forward. If you have any details on the whereabouts of Summer Leo, Timothy Bowman, or the white BMW, you are encouraged to reach out to BSO Detective Shane Fairbanks by calling 954-321-4380 or the BSO non-emergency line at 954-764-HELP (4357), as per information shared with WSVN.
